Check out the latest exhibit at the Philbrook Art & Museum:
- Roadside Abstractions: Route 66 & American Modernism opens July 29!
- The exhibition follows the timeline of Route 66, from 1926 through the 1970s, tracing the journey of modern art in America alongside key moments in pop culture—there will even be a Model T in the gallery
- Visitors will see artworks by nearly 50 iconic American artists, including Georgia O’Keeffe, Andy Warhol, Helen Frankenthaler, Kay Walkingstick, and Barkley Hendrix
- Members see it first! The member opening party is 7/24 at 6pm. And the exhibition is open to members only on Saturday, 7/25, from 9am-5pm.
- If you aren’t yet a member, you can join for a little at $6 per month.
- Members get unlimited free general admission, invitations to exclusive exhibition previews and members-only events, discounts on events, retail, food, and beverages.
