PING PONG WITH MUSE, ANYONE?!?
Battle in ping pong with MUSE backstage at the BOK Center March 10th and (of course) meet the band! If you’re 18 or older come out to Baker St. Pub (68th and Memorial) this Saturday (March 2nd) for a Doubles Ping Pong Tournament. The winning team plays and meets MUSE! The top 4 teams will score tickets to the show! Not into Ping Pong? Doesn't matter, come by and register, either way.
All you gotta do is just show up and register with your partner around 2pm Saturday March 2nd at Baker St. Pub. Thanks to Amini's Galleria for providing the tables and paddles, Baker St. Pub and the Tulsa Table Tennis Club for providing the official judging!
MUSE Supremacy Ping Pong Tournament Rules:
Scoring
For each game, the first team to reach 11 points wins that game, no 2 point margin to win. A point is scored after each ball is put into play (not just when the server wins the point as in volleyball). The edges of the table are part of the legal table surface, but not the sides.
Flow of the Match
Each team consists of 2 players, must rotate servers on each side out. Each team serves two points in a row and then switch server. However, if a score of 10-10 is reached in any game, then each server serves only one point and then the server is switched.
Legal Service
The ball must rest on an open hand palm. Then it must be tossed up at least 6 inches and struck so the ball first bounces on the server's side and then the opponent's side.
If the serve is legal except that it touches the net, it is called a let serve. Let serves are not scored and are reserved.
Contest open to U.S. Citizens that reside on the state of Oklahoma. Winner must provide a valid Oklahoma government issued photo ID as proof of Oklahoma residency. Age restrictions may apply on certain giveaways.
. A member of Shamrock Communications will randomly draw a winner from all eligible entries, after the contest ends (see below for drawing dates), the winner/nominee will be contacted by phone. Winner must claim prize within 30 days or winning (or sooner if notified by station… ie tickets for a concert that is 10 days away) Odds of winning depend on number of entries.
. Winner can claim their prize at the KMYZ studios. Winner must present a valid government issued when claiming their prize Monday – Friday between 8:30am – 5:30pm at the KMYZ studios, 5810 E. Skelly Dr. Ste. 801 Tulsa, OK 74135 during normal business hours.
. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for another prize at the request of the winner. Prize not redeemable for cash.
. Winner is responsible for all taxes and applicable fees.
. Winner agrees to sign a release for possible use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes and they indemnify and hold harmless Shamrock Communications and their participating sponsors for this promotion.
. Employees and families of Shamrock Communications, participating sponsors, and broadcasting media outlets in the Tulsa, OK area are ineligible.
. Shamrock Communications reserves the sole right to substitute the prize(s) for one of equal or greater value or to modify, cancel or suspend this promotion, should fraud or other causes beyond the control of Shamrock Communications corrupt the administration, security or proper conduct of the promotion.
. Shamrock Communications is the sole judge of all matters pertaining to this promotion and their decision is final. All entries become property of Shamrock Communications.
